The COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus)
This virus is now sweeping the world. It is of great concern to us that everyone be kept safe and well and to that end we are following the advice of the New Zealand Ministry of Health and the Australian Department of Health with regard to our conferences and live trainings.
What this means
We are cancelling the New Zealand and Australian events for 2020. These events are a vital part of our community. Learning and connecting in person, networking with colleagues (new and old) have long lasting value. But under the circumstances we need everyone to be well and safe. We will be scheduling both events in 2021 when conditions are safe again!
We have other events scheduled in New Zealand – in particular our DWD (Digital Workplace Days). For now they are all postponed until further notice.
We will, however, continue to stay updated on any further advice from our Ministry of Health departments in both Australia and New Zealand and keep you informed of any changes in any of our events. We highly recommend you check out these Health Department sites in each country since changes are occurring so quickly.
New Zealand Ministry of Health recommendations for attending public events.
The following people should not attend events of any size:
- anyone who is unwell
- anyone arriving in New Zealand who has returned from any country except those listed in Category 2 (excluding airport transit), or been in close contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days is being asked to self-isolate. Please also register your details with Healthline 0800 358 5453 (or +64 9 358 5453 if using an international SIM) if you have not already.
Stay well, be safe
