The COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus)
This virus is now sweeping the world. It is of great concern to us that everyone be kept safe and well and to that end we are following the advice of the New Zealand Ministry of Health and the Australian Department of Health with regard to our conferences and live trainings.
Recent news means that anyone flying into New Zealand has to be quarantined for 14 days on arrival. This impacts our Digital Workplace Conference New Zealand which was scheduled for 12-13 May, given we have a number of sponsors (travelling to NZ) who support the event, and also international speakers who were planning to be here.
What this means
We are postponing the New Zealand event from 12-13 May to November 4-5. This Event is a vital part of our community. Learning and connecting in person, networking with colleagues (new and old) have long lasting value. We therefore still plan to hold the event! Read more here.
The Digital Workplace Conference Australia that was scheduled for Melbourne 18-19 August is now postponed also! We do not as yet have a new date.
We have other events scheduled in New Zealand – in particular our DWD (Digital Workplace Days). For now they are all postponed until further notice.
We will, however, continue to stay updated on any further advice from our Ministry of Health departments in both Australia and New Zealand and keep you informed of any changes in any of our events. We highly recommend you check out these Health Department sites in each country since changes are occurring so quickly.
