SharePoint Online (part of Office 365) Office 365 is a subscription-based service by Microsoft that provides the technology platform for you to do business. It includes Office, Email, Calendars, File Storage, Online Conferencing and Communication tools. Further details are here. – It’s quick to get up and running
– You don’t have to manage your own IT infrastructure
– It expands as you do: pay per month, per user. As you add more staff, you can add more licences.

– Office 365 Business Premium

SharePoint

Foundation
The basic SharePoint platform with tools for basic document management and collaboration. – If you already have Windows Server, then you can just add it on.
SharePoint Server Additional SharePoint features including Enterprise Content Management, Search, Business Intelligence and personal My Sites. – You want to manage your own IT infrastructure There are 2 levels of licencing available:- SharePoint Server Standard

– SharePoint Server Enterprise
